2016 Bond Scam suspects further remanded

Colombo (News 1st);  The 08 defendants in the case filed on 32 counts including the criminal misappropriation of Rs. 36.98 Billion Rupees at the Treasury Bond Auction on the 29th of March 2016, were further remanded to the 30th of March by the Colombo Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar.

President's Counsel Anuja Premaratne presented facts to seek bail for the 11th accused in the case. The Attorney General is to make submissions with respect to the application on the 30th of March.
