Tourism will be further promoted: Minister Ranatunga

COLOMBO (News 1st): A total of 3,400 tourists have visited Sri Lanka, since 21st January 2021 to-date, the Ministry of Tourism said on Friday (Mar. 05). "Tourism will be further promoted in the future, with the relaxation of health restrictions imposed on tourists that may prevent them from visiting the country," Prasanna Ranatunga, the Minister of Tourism told News 1st. Accordingly, plans are underway to facilitate the arrival of around 30,000-40,000 tourists to Sri Lanka daily, after May this year.
