COLOMBO (News1st): The government must prioritize investors from European nations to reduce international pressure on the country, Ven. Medagama Dhammananda Thero has said.
"By strengthening our ties with the western world, Sri Lanka can see ease of pressure in Geneva," the Registrar of the Asgiriya Chapter of the Siam Sect said on Friday.
He pointed out that maintaining strong ties with at least few European countries will be beneficial, as the countries in the region work hand in hand.
The Registrar of the Asgiriya Chapter of the Siam Sect also noted that Sri Lanka has continuously failed to manage its foreign policies.
"If Sri Lanka had managed its foreign policies properly, we could have mitigated the pressure we are currently facing," Ven. Medagama Dhammananda Thero said.
