The COVID-19 inoculation targeting Sri Lanka Police continues

COLOMBO (News 1st): The COVID-19 Vaccination drive targeting Sri Lanka Police is still ongoing. Approximately, 3000 police officers were vaccinated at the Police Field Force Headquarters in Bambalapitiya, yesterday, Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said. Since the vaccination program was initiated three weeks ago, up to date, close to 30,000 police officers and health workers attached to Sri Lanka Police hospitals have received the COVID-19 jab, DIG Ajith Rohana added. Furthermore, the Deputy Police Chief noted that the vaccination program of Sri Lanka Police will continue, with a focus on police officers who are on field duty and those interacting with the general public.
