Muslim MPs meet Imran Khan in Colombo

Colombo (News 1st); 15 Members of Parliament representing the Muslim community called on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in Colombo on Wednesday (24). Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) leader Rauff Hakeem speaking to News 1st said they are hopeful some positive things would happen following the meeting. "We don't want to comment on (COVID-19 burials and UNHRC) it, but overall we can say the Prime Minister is confident our leaders are mature enough to understand the situation and take decision that will keep the country and communities together," said Rauff Hakeem.
