Trial-at-Bars appointed for bond scam cases

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Chief Justice appointed two Trial-at-Bars to hear the Bond Scam cases involving two bond auctions in March 2016, following a request by the Attorney General, confirmed State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne, the coordinating officer to the Attorney General. High Court Judges D.Thotawatta, Manjula Thilakarathne & M. Irsadeen were appointed to the first trial at bar & High Court Judges Amal Ranaraja, Namal Balalle & Adithya Patabandige were appointed to the second trial at bar to hear the Bond Scam cases.
