2020 GCE O/L: Admissions mailed via post

COLOMBO (News 1st): The admissions of candidates sitting for 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year were mailed via post, the Department of Examinations said on Wednesday (Feb. 17). Principals of the Colombo and Sri Jayawardenapura Education Zones can obtain the O/L admissions today (17), from the School Examinations Organization & Results Branch at the Department of Examinations, Sanath Pujitha, the Commissioner-General of Examinations told News 1st.. The admissions of private applicants will be mailed via post on Wednesday (17). In the event there is any issue with regard to the O/L admissions, such could be resolved by contacting the School Examinations Organization & Results Branch at the Examinations Department, Sanath Pujitha further noted. The 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination, postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is scheduled to be held from 1st to 10th March 2021, at 4513 examination centers. According to the Examinations Department, 622,352 candidates will sit for the 2020 GCE Ordinary Level Examination this year.
