Study leave granted for O/L students

Colombo (News 1st): The Ministry of Education has decided to grant a period of study leave to students sitting for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination starting from the 1st of March 2021. Issuing a media release the Ministry of Education states that the Secretary to the Ministry of Education has directed all Provincial, Zonal, Divisional Education authorities and Principals to grant an academic leave from the 17th to the 25th of February for students appearing for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination that is to be held from the 1st to the 11th of March. The Secretary has further stated that the granting of study leave should not be an obstacle in issuing admission card to students appearing for the examination.
