COLOMBO (News 1st): The daily income of the Sri Lanka Transport Board has declined by Rs. 30 million as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, SLTB Chairman said.
“The daily income of the Sri Lanka Transport Board used to be at around Rs. 85 million; however, it has declined to Rs. 55 million at present,” Kingsley Ranawaka, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board told News 1st on Saturday (Feb. 06).
According to Ranawaka, the income has declined as people are reluctant to commute via buses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
