TWO COVID-19 REALTED DEATHS ON WEDNESDAY (27)

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Director-General of Health Services confirmed that two COVID-19 deaths were reported in the country on Wednesday (Jan. 27), raising Sri Lanka's COVID-19 death toll to 290. The details of the deceased are as follows: 01. A 43-year-old male from Colombo 15. He passed away on 27th January, while undergoing treatment at the Homagama Base Hospital. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia and complicated heart disease. 02. A 74-year-old female from Gonapola. She died on 26th January upon admission to the Horana Base Hospital. The cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia, kidney infection and acute cellulitis.
