COVID-19 TESTS AT WP EXIT POINTS: DIG AJITH ROHANA

COLOMBO (News 1st): COVID-19 tests will be carried out on those who are leaving the Western province at 12 exit points, Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said on Thursday (Jan. 28). Moreover, the employees of fish stalls, vegetable stalls, 'Sathi Pola' and economic centres will also be subjected to COVID-19 tests. According to DIG Ajith Rohana, passengers of long-distance buses will also be tested for COVID-19. The Deputy Police Chief urged the general public to follow the instructions of the authorities and assist the COVID-19 containment measures.
