COLOMBO (News1st): The health ministry has rolled out a set of guidelines on discharging individuals infected by COVID-19 upon completing quarantine.
According to the health guidelines, infected individuals can be discharged from quarantine if they have developed antibodies.
Individuals who contract COVID-19 and display symptoms can be discharged from quarantine, 10 days after undergoing a PCR test, provided that their health condition improves.
Such individuals are required to undergo home quarantine for 4 days.
Individuals at elders homes, hotels and prisons who test positive for the virus, have to spend the last 4 days of the 14-day quarantine period at a treatment centre.
