Two tennis balls containing narcotics recovered in Welikanda

COLOMBO (News1st): Two tennis balls containing narcotics were recovered at the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre in Welikanda. The Police said cannabis, heroin and tobacco were recovered from the tennis balls. Last night, an individual or a group of individuals had thrown tennis balls containing the drugs outside the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre. This was found during an operation carried out by army and prison officials.
