PM meets Speaker on parliamentary session

COLOMBO (News1st): Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at the latter's official residence at Wijerama Mawatha on Friday. The discussion had revolved around the parliamentary sessions scheduled for February 9, the Prime Minister's Media Division noted. The Prime Minister had drawn the Speaker's attention on the need to conduct parliamentary sessions in keeping with health guidelines amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
