Identify schools without facilities : PM

COLOMBO (News1st): Prime Minister Rajapaksa has advised the Ministry of Education to urgently look into schools which lack basic facilities. The government intends to fulfil its responsibility towards the children who are the nation's future, Rajapaksa said in a digital address. He made these remarks during a ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the Mahinda Rajapaksa college in Pitipana, Homagama. Students with special talents and teachers were felicitated during the event. Government parliamentarians Bandula Gunawardena, Susil Premajayantha and Gamini Lokuge and education secretary Professor Kapila Perera were among those present.
