Cardinal speaks of need to do what is right

COLOMBO (News1st): Colombo Archbishop His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith has said it is important for all individuals to do the right thing regardless of one's religious or political affiliations. He lamented that the trend of adopting brave policies have deteriorated in the country as individuals have displayed a tendency of concealing the truth. The cardinal stressed that it is important to speak fearlessly as the leader of the Christian community and that he has been acting in line with this principle since the April 21st attacks. Accordingly, the Archbishop stressed that he is not afraid of death and that he would continue to speak on behalf of the people of his community.
