674 COVID-19 CASES IN SRI LANKA ON MONDAY (18)

Colombo (News 1st); 674 COVID-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka as at 10:00 PM on Monday (18), said the Department of Government Information.
627 of these cases are from the Peliyagoda Cluster and the remaining 47 cases are returnees from overseas.
Accordingly, 45 returnees from Cyprus and 02 returnees from the United Arab Emirates tested positive for COVID-19.
The total number of infected patients being treated in hospitals stands at 7365.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka is 53,455 while 45,820 people have recovered.
The total number of fatalities in Sri Lanka stands at 270.
