GoSL TO INTRODUCE MOBILE APP FOR TOURISTS

COLOMBO (News 1st): The government of Sri Lanka has decided to introduce a new mobile application for tourists visiting Sri Lanka, the Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) said. It is mandatory to obtain insurance coverage via the app when obtaining a visa, Dhammika Wijesinghe, the Director-General Tourism said on Wednesday (Jan. 13). The app known as "Sri Lanka Tourism" which is to be launched by the end of January, includes information on the insurance scheme, PCR tests, charges, and the health regulations that should be followed by tourists who visit Sri Lanka.
