COLOMBO (News1st): The President should have lost his temper when fraudulent dealings took place in the country, an opposition lawmaker has said.

“He could have lost his temper because the price of sugar was not reduced,” Jathika Jana Balawegaya leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake pointed out.

He observed that the President could have taken swift action when traders had not been selling rice at the stipulated rates.

“He could have lost his temper when tourists were brought into the country and a mess was created,” Dissanayake remarked.
