Colombo (News 1st);  The National Operations Center for the Prevention of the COVID-19 Outbreak announced on Saturday (09), that several more areas were placed in isolation with immediate effect.

The areas in question are the Pannala – Mummana Grama Niladhari Division (1564) and the Wetthewa Grama Niladhari Division (1563) in the Giriulla Police area.

Further selected areas in the Koskota locality in the Poojapitiya Police Area in Kandy have also been placed in isolation with immediate effect.
