Dhammika tonic to undergo clinical trials

COLOMBO (News1st): The COVID-19 tonic developed by indigenous medical practitioner Dhammika Bandara has been sent for clinical trials, a state minister has said. "We have allowed a team of medical professors at local universities to carry out the relevant trials," Prof. Channa Jayasumana, a state pharmaceutical minister noted. Bandara who distributed the tonic among residents had previously claimed that the product had been tested at the Wathupitiwala District Hospital. But remarks made by state minister Professor Channa Jayasumana indicate that the process is still undergoing medical trials.
