COLOMBO (News 1st): A total of 30 people sustained injuries after a bus veered off the road and crashed into a canal adjacent to the Parakrama Samudraya in Pulasthipura, Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka Police said on Saturday (Jan. 09).

According to Police, a bus transporting apparel workers had met with the accident along the BOP 317 route in Pulasthipura, Polonnaruwa.

The injured have been admitted to the Pulasthipura and Polonnaruwa hospitals for treatment, police further noted.
