COLOMBO (News 1st): A total of 41 COVID-19 positive cases were detected through covid tests conducted at the exit points of the Western province since the 18th of December, Sri Lanka Police said on Sunday (Dec. 27).
While requesting the people not to resist the testing procedure, Police Spokesperson – DIG Ajith Rohana said covid tests are conducted at 11 exit points of the Western province.
“The tests are being conducted continuously, and your support and cooperation are required. If you are tested as a positive patient, you will be sent to a treatment centre, and your close contacts will be sent to a quarantine centre. Don’t resist the procedure,” the Deputy Police Chief emphasized.
