COLOMBO (News 1st): Three COVID-19 deaths were confirmed on Wednesday (16) in Sri Lanka raising the total number of fatalities to 157, said the Director-General of Health Services.
The details of the deceased are as follows.
01. A 60-year-old female from Grandpass. She had passed away at a private hospital in Colombo on the 14th of December. The death was reported on the 15th of December. The cause of death was ruled as COVID-19 pneumonia.
02. An 85-year-old Male from Colombo 15. He had passed away at his residence on the 12th of December. The death was reported on the 15th of December. The cause of death was ruled as COVID-19 pneumonia.
03. An 84-year-old male from Colombo 15. He had passed away on the 12th of December upon admission to the Colombo National Hospital. The death was reported on the 15th of December. The cause of death was ruled as COVID-19 pneumonia.
