Nearly 600 Sri Lankans return from overseas

COLOMBO (News1st): A total of 594 Sri Lankan expatriates returned to the country on Sunday, airport officials said. Among them, 203 were from Japan, 144 from Dubai and 51 from Qatar, the duty manager at the Bandaranaike International Airport confirmed. Other returnees included 75 from Australia and 31 from the Maldives. They had been directed to quarantine centres after being subjected to PCR tests.
