304 COVID-19 cases from Colombo on Thursday (10);

Colombo (News 1st); 538 COVID-19 cases were reported in Sri Lanka on Thursday (10), said the National Operation Center for the Prevention of the COVID-19 outbreak.

The following is a breakdown of the cases reported on Thursday (10).

304 - Colombo District

28 - Gampaha District

27 - Kalutara District

38 - Kandy District

10 - Kurunegala District

23 - Ratnapura District

11 - Ampara District

14 - Galle District

01 - Nuwara Eliya District

01 - Hambantota District

06 - Matara District

01 - Polonnaruwa District

03 - Matara District

02 - Jaffna District

448 of these cases were from the Peliyagoda Cluster and 21 others were from prisons in Sri Lanka.

In addition, 69 returnees from overseas had also tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

41 - Returnees from South Sudan

11 - Returnees from Oman

10 - Returnees from the United Arab Emirates

01 - Returnee from India

01 - Returnee from the Maldives

01 - Returnee from the UK

04 - Sailors

According to the Department of Government Information, the total number of COVID-19 cases receiving treatment in hospital stands at 8,206.

At the same time, 22,261 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals.

Accordingly, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases reported so far stands at 30,613.
