Bail decision for Shani Abeysekara postponed

Colombo (News 1st); The decision on granting bail to Former Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) SSP Shani Abeysekara and Sub-Inspector Rohana Mendis which was scheduled for today at Court No. 1 of the Gampaha High Court, did not take place.
The matter was postponed to the 9th of December as High Court Judge Nimal Ranaweera was on official leave.
Shani Abeysekara and Rohana Mendis were arrested and remanded on charges of fabricating evidence and misleading the judiciary.
