Cyclone BUREVI: Schools in Puttalam Education Zone closed tomorrow (03)

COLOMBO (News 1st): All schools in the Puttalam Education Zone will be closed on Thursday (Dec. 03) as a result of the prevailing inclement weather. This was confirmed by W.B.S.K. Wijesinghe, the Director of the Puttalam Education Zone. Meanwhile, the Northern Provincial Education Ministry announced earlier on Wednesday (Dec. 02) that schools in the Northern province will be closed on Thursday (03) and Friday (04) due to inclement weather. All schools in the Eastern Province will also remain closed till Friday (Dec. 04).
