491 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Saturday (21)

COLOMBO (News 1st): Another 491 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Sri Lanka on Saturday (Nov. 21), taking the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 19,771. Of the total 491 cases, 487 are connected to the Peliyagoda cluster, while the remaining four are returnees from overseas, the Department of Government Information said. According to the Epidemiology Unit, the total number of recoveries in Sri Lanka stands at 13,590. A total of 6098 active COVID-19 patients continue to receive treatment.
