Opposition Members of the Yatinuwara Pradeshiya Sabha allege that it has been destroyed last night.

Clarifying facts, Amila Weragoda, Chairman of the Kadugannawa Urban Council said, steps were taken to remove the clock tower to construct a sidewalk and to erect traffic signals.
