COLOMBO (News1st): More than 125 Sri Lankans stranded overseas due to the COVID-19 pandemic returned to the country on Sunday.
The expatriates were from China, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and the Maldives, the operations manager at the Banadaranaike International Airport said
The group included 59 Sri Lankans from Dubai, 39 from Qatar, and five from China.
All passengers have been subjected to a PCR test and have been placed under quarantine.
