Colombo (News 1st);  Sri Lanka Police introduced a special telephone number to obtain the services of ambulances in the event of an emergency for the people living in areas of lockdown.

The service can be obtained by calling 011 3 422 558, said Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana
