Colombo (News 1st); The 42nd COVID-19 death was reported in Sri Lanka on Wednesday (11), said the Department of Government Information.

The victim was an 80-year-old male from Panadura who ruled dead upon admission to the Police Hospital.

The post-mortem revealed the cause of death as a COVID-19 related cardiac arrest.
