Colombo (News 1st); The Committee on High Posts approved the appointment of seven new Ambassadors nominated by the Government.
The Ambassadors are:
Mr. Ahamed A. Jawad - Ambassador to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Mrs. Aruni Ranaraja - Ambassador to Netherlands
Mr. Dharshana Perera - Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden
Mr. M.K. Pathmanaathan - Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt
Miss. S.D.K. Semasinghe - Ambassador to the Republic of Poland
Mrs. C. A. Chaminda I. Colonne - Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand
Air Marshal Sumangala Dias - High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Canada
