SLTB ready offer buses for office transport; 3574 buses in operation today

Colombo (News 1st); Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board Kingsley Ranawaka said 3574 SLTB buses were deployed for operation in the Western Province.

He said there is a high demand for SLTB buses from offices, and therefore a special unit was established to cater to these needs.

Sri Lanka Railways deployed 136 train operations on Monday (09) as quarantine curfew was lifted earlier in the day.

All trains operate as per the health ministry guidelines, it added.
