COVID-19 cases on the rise

213 COVID-19 cases reported at 1845 hours on Thursday (05)

Colombo (News 1st); 213 COVID-19 cases were reported on Thursday (05) said the Department of Government Information.

All these cases are close contacts of the Peliyagoda Cluster.

Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 cases from the Divulapitiya and Minuwangoda clusters rose to 8922.

According to the Epidemiology Unit, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka rose to 12,400 with 6,623 recoveries and 5,748 patients under medical care.

The death toll rose to 29 on Thursday (05), reported the Department of Government Information.
