Colombo (News 1st); The final decision on reopening schools will be made during the weekend, said Education Minister Professor G. L. Peiris on Monday (02).

'Health Security of the children is of paramount importance,' said the Education Minister at a media briefing.

Further, the Education Ministry is exploring the possibility of online education for school children, if the need arises.
