Preparations underway for discussions between PM Modi and TNA

Colombo (News 1st): Preparations are underway for a meeting between the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Tamil National Alliance (TNA). According to the leader of the Tamil National Alliance R. Sampanthan, a request has been made from India for a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Upon inquiry, R. Sampanthan stated that the Indian Prime Minister has given orders to the relevant authorities to make the necessary arrangements for the event. A meeting was held on the 21st of August between the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the TNA. A video discussion was held between Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Modi on the 26th of September. The Indian Prime Minister had made the request to implement the 13th amendment fully, at the event.
