COLOMBO (News1st): The laws concerning COVID-19 are seemingly imposed differently among the people and politicians, a doctors association has claimed. A union member pointed out that in the case of ordinary people, the police and the army will obtain details of the places they had visited and the individuals who had come into contact with them. "However, in the case of politicians it seems that there is no indication of the places they visited," Dr. Disantha Dissanayake, the president of the All-Island Government Medical Officers Association said. He claimed that the government is including several clusters in the country as part of the Minuwangoda cluster. "Our healthcare system is on the brink of collapsing," Dr Dissanayake noted adding that the government is in denial about this matter.
