Govt. shirked its responsibility of testing estate workers for COVID-19 ; MP Vadivel Suresh

COLOMBO(News 1st): Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Vadivel Suresh claimed that the Government had shirked its responsibility of conducting PCR tests on estate workers while addressing a media briefing held on Friday (09). "People living in estates live in groups. No one has been tested for COVID-19 ", the Parliamentarian said. He also questioned whether the re-emergence of COVID-19 was being utilized as a tool to fulfill the hidden aspirations of the Government. " Different people are saying different things. The Minister of Education is saying one thing and the Minister of Health is saying something else", he added. Parliamentarian Vadivel Suresh also claimed that the populace is ill-informed of the current situation in the country.
