Wellawatte resident arrested for posting fake content on COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested a 60-year-old man for posting false and fake information on social media with regard to COVID-19.

Sri Lanka Police said the suspect had spread false information with regard to the Kalubowila Hospital and was arrested on Monday (05) night.

He will be produced in the court on Tuesday (06).
