COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police arrested six suspects engaged in trafficking Heroin during raids conducted in various parts of the country.

According to police, three suspects engaged in trafficking heroin were arrested during a raid in Alubomulla, Kalutara-North, and 8 grams of heroin was seized from the possession of the suspects.

Another suspect was arrested from Dalupotha in Negombo, along with 300 grams of heroin in his possession.

The 43-year-old suspect is a resident of Daluwakotuwa.

A 32-year-old suspect was arrested down Hospital Lane in Kandy, along with 62.35 grams of heroin in her possession, Sri Lanka Police said.

The suspect is a resident of Medawachchiya.

Another suspect was arrested with 2.1 grams of heroin from the Wedikanda area in Mount Lavina.

The suspect will be produced at the Mount Lavinia Magistrates Court today (Sep 02).
