Colombo (News 1st);  The Police Special Task Force arrested a member of an organized crime syndicate identified as Mohamed Thajudeen Mohamed Shaul Hameed alias ‘Sawanna’.

The 51-year-old suspect was arrested in Maligawatte at 06:45 on Tuesday (01st September) for the possession of 5.64 grams of heroin.

The suspect was handed over to the Maligawatte Police for further investigations and he will be produced in court.
