One arrested for attempting to sexually abuse tourist

COLOMBO (News1st): A person who attempted to sexually abuse a British tourist has been arrested in Matara, police said. The suspect had attempted to abuse the woman by entering her room at a lodge in the area, CCTV footage showed. He had been in the lodge for an hour before entering the woman's room and had also stolen her money, according to the police. The suspect had been arrested with the assistance of CCTV footage.
