COLOMBO (News1st): The Our Power of People Party (OPPP) is expecting the election commission's decision on its national list parliamentary seat, Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero has said. "I have to say is that the seat has been stolen by thieves," Gnanasara Thero said during News1st's Newsline programme. "These are the actions of an uncivilized individual." He insisted that he must be sent to parliament to fight against fundamentalists who are creating divisions between communities in the country. The OPPP's national list seat has been embroiled in controversy after its general secretary who nominated himself had gone into hiding, as the party nominated another candidate. "I believe injustice. No matter who plays hide and seek, they have to eventually come out," Gnanasara Thero said.
