Vote on Account to be tabled on Friday

COLOMBO (News1st): A Vote on Account is to be tabled in parliament on Friday to cover state expenses from September 1 until a budget is presented. The Vote on Account documents have been handed over to the parliament's Secretary-General, News1st's correspondent reported. Earlier this week, the government said it is likely to put forward a budget in November for 2021. This would see Sri Lanka running without a budget for 2020.
