COLOMBO (News 1st): Views and suggestions of the general public for new education reforms, will be obtained starting next week, the National Institute of Education said.
“The program will be implemented at the district level,” Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navaratne, the Director-General at the National Institute of Education said on Thursday (Aug 20).
Meanwhile, a program will be prepared to regulate the pre-school education system, according to Piyal Nishantha, the State Minister of Women and Child Development, Pre School and Primary Education, School Infrastructure, and School Services.
“Steps will also be taken to increase the allowance of pre-school teachers,” the State Minister further added.
