Legal action to be taken against corrupt govt. servants; Defence Secretary

He said the actions of a handful of corrupt officers brings a great deal of disrepute to the hard work carried out by a majority of honest officers in the public service.

" We can only call it the end of corruption when legal action is taken against the last remaining corrupt officer in the public service," said Defence Secretary Major General (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne.
