University students must adhere to health guidelines: Ministry of Health

COLOMBO (News 1st): University students must adhere to health guidelines when returning for academic activities at universities, the Ministry of Health said. "These guidelines include wearing face masks, washing hands, and maintaining social distances," Dr. Lakshman Gamlath, the Deputy Director-General of Health Services said on Saturday (Aug 15). According to Dr. Gamlath, under the guidelines, the number of visitors to University dormitories is also restricted. All universities in the island will re-open for academic activities on Monday, the 17th of August, the University Grants Commission said on Friday (Aug 14).
