63 arrested in Grandpass on Friday: Sri Lanka Police

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka Police on Friday (Aug 14) arrested 63 people during a special crime prevention operation conducted at the Muwadora Uyana apartment complex in Grandpass, police said. According to Police, 20 suspects were arrested over the possession of drugs. "A female suspect who was engaged in smuggling drugs was also arrested, along with a sum of Rs. 420,000 and six mobile phones," police further noted. A total of 11 suspects were arrested for the possession of Cannabis.
